The Question of the day, “Where were you on 9-11-01?”

Where were you on 9-11-01?

On 9/11, I was on my way to a 9 am Mission Twin Cities meeting at 1st Covenant Church. I was listening to WCCO radio when I heard that a plane had hit one of the Twin Towers. I remember thinking how terrible that was, but not really thinking anything about terrorism. I remember walking into the meeting and there was an absolute hush as everyone’s eyes where on the little television. Sitting in that room, we began to cry out for America and our leaders. It was not long after we all watched as the second plane hit the Twin Towers and we all knew America was under attack. That is a moment in time that will forever be etched in my memory.

By the time we left that “War Room,” we had waged war against the enemy and our plans were in motion to bring the church of the Twin Cities together to pray. So just a few days later, the church of the Twin Cities including all denominations, backgrounds, and ethnic believers gathered at the Metrodome, united in Christ and praying for America.

Never Forget 9-11-01 – It forever changed America and the church of Jesus Christ as together, we understand the battle and the importance of allies in the war.
